How long have you been in business? When did you open your business in the Heart of Orléans?

2 years this summer. August 2020

Where do you see yourself and/or your business in 2-5 years?

Still in the heart of Orléans!

How did you manage to survive the past 2 years, during the Pandemic?

Got creative at offering At Home Hair Kits such as Root Touch Up Kits & Toner Kits — I also opened an online retail store selling luxury hair care. I also took many virtual classes to stay inspired! I couldn’t wait to get back to work!

Any plans for expansions or reduction of service?

I just re-launched my online retail store offering free local deliveries! Clients can now order their favourite cruelty-free products right to their door. Moonstone Hair Studio is growing. I’ve also renewed my lease and The Heart of Orléans will be home for another 3 years.

Would you recommend a business to open its door in the Heart of Orléans? Why?

Absolutely! The clients are absolute gems. The BIA has helped us tremendously as a new business.

What else would you like us to know? (Tell us a little more about yourself or business. What made you decide on your industry? Is there a personal story you’d like to share? What would you tell us so we get to know the face(s) behind the business a little better.)

Funny story. I grew up in Vars and my mom would bring me and my sisters shopping at Place d’Orléans and whenever we would pass by what was once “Lynn’s Hair Design”, I always pointed out how adorable the tiny building was. That if I were to have a salon, this would be it. And here we are today.
