The Heart of Orléans BIA is centrally located in Orléans, Ontario, just 16 km east of downtown Ottawa. Whether you’re driving, cycling, or taking transit, here’s how you can reach our vibrant business district:
By Car
- From Downtown Ottawa: Take Highway 417 East and exit at Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard (Exit 113), Tenth Line Road or Trim Road.
- From Gatineau: Cross into Ottawa via Macdonald-Cartier Bridge, take Highway 417 East, and follow the same directions as above.
- From Montreal: Take Trans-Canada Highway/ON 417, to Rockdale Road/Ottawa 33 in Cumberland, Ottawa, take Exit 88 from Trans-Canada Hwy/ON-417W. Take Frank Kenny Road to Innes Road, head west on Innes Road then north on Trim Road.
By Bike
- Orléans has an extensive bike-friendly network! Use the scenic Ottawa River Pathway and connect to Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard or Tenth Line Road, both of which lead to St. Joseph Boulevard
- Bike racks are available along the way and at many local businesses.
By Public Transit
- From Downtown Ottawa: Take OC Transpo Line 1 (O-Train) to Blair Station and then take Route 39.
- From South Ottawa: Take Route 228 (Riverside South-Orléans) for a direct connection.
- From East Ottawa & Cumberland: Use Route 35 or 136 for local access.
