Annual General Meeting

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is the place to learn all about the highlights of this year and what is in store for next year. It is also an opportunity to meet your business neighbours and Board members.

If you are a member and unable to attend our AGM, you are able to complete a proxy form to have someone vote on your behalf.

Please note in order to proxy you must be a member of the Heart of Orléans BIA (Property Owner or Business Owner) in good standing. Proxy forms must be submitted to the Heart of Orléans BIA office by 4:00 PM on the Monday before the AGM.

This year, our AGM will be held via ZOOM on November 17, 2022 at 6PM.

2022 is an Election Year

2022 is a municipal election year. This means that it is a BIA election year as well. If you are a member in good standing and interested in becoming a board member, please let us know.

  • Nominations are open until September 30, 2022. Nominations will not be accepted after this date or from the floor on the date of the election.
  • In the event there are fewer than 5 nominees after the nomination deadline, the Heart of Orléans BIA Board of Directors has the authorization to nominate additional candidates.
  • Interested candidates are to submit their completed application form to the Heart of Orléans BIA Office via email [email protected]
  • All nominations will be reviewed by the Governance Task Force to ensure fit and competency.
  • Thank you for your interest in the Heart of Orléans BIA Board of Directors. Should you have any questions about the process, please contact the office at [email protected]
