Heart of Orléans BIA

What are the best ingredients for a festival?

Who remembers those days where we were able to be close to each other and mingle in big crowds setting?

Beer. Music. Food. Fun.

Those are the main ingredients in the Orléans Craft Beer Festival and they make for a fantastic festival.

Festival co-founder, Kevin Hurtubise, has been an Orléans resident for over 35 years. By combining his passions – craft beer and events – he has created a whole lot of fun and a wonderful venue for local microbrewers, musicians, and restaurateurs to share their talents.

This year, the festival is hosting about 25 local microbreweries, including Stray Dog, Orléans Brewing Company, Kichesippi Beer Company, ClockTower, among many others. The Festival will also feature non-beer beverages from, for example, Ernest Cider and Kin Vineyards. Kevin has tried them all before and he looks forward to trying them all again this year.

There will be 12 artists at this year’s festival as well. The headliner for the opening night is The Bar Stool Prophets. The other talented artists performing this year include Tessa Duc, Little Bones (a Tragically Hip tribute band), The McLovins, The Angelina Hunt Trio, and many more.

Food for the Festival comes from local restaurants and caterers such as Meatings Barbeque, Lunchbox Catering, YOW Popcorn, Golden Fries, and Craft Beer Market.
