A new era of sport and connection has arrived in the Heart of Orléans BIA. The Forge Inc., which opened its doors in July 2025, is Ottawa’s largest indoor pickleball facility, designed to bring players of all ages and skill levels together under one roof.
With 11 professional-grade courts, a mezzanine viewing lounge, a licensed bar, and a full-service pro shop, The Forge is more than just a place to play, it’s a vibrant community hub where competition, connection, and wellness meet. In just a few short months, the club has already attracted over 1,600 active members, with new players joining every week.
The idea for The Forge was born from a simple observation: Ottawa’s growing pickleball community lacked high-quality, year-round facilities. Seeing this gap, local owners Brett Conway, Mike Aiello, Anthony Aiello, and their team decided to create a space that would meet the demand and elevate the experience for players across the region.
From the ground up, The Forge was designed with precision and purpose. Every element, from the spacing between courts to the sightlines from the mezzanine, was carefully considered to enhance play. Beyond the courts, the club offers structured programming, leagues, clinics, and tournaments, with youth programs launching next summer.

What makes The Forge truly special, however, is its sense of community. “Seeing people connect — whether it’s a new player hitting their first great shot, a group of friends bonding over a match, or a league championship game bringing out the best in players — that’s what makes it all worthwhile,” says the ownership team.
The Forge offers memberships, drop-in sessions, and clinics for all skill levels, as well as corporate events and tournaments. Their high-performance “Crucible” training program caters to players looking to push their game further, while social nights and open play keep the atmosphere fun and inclusive.
The team credits their success to listening to the community. “Every decision — from court design to programming — has been shaped by what players in Ottawa told us they wanted,” they shared. “Combine that with a passionate team, strong partnerships, and attention to detail, and we’ve built something people are proud to be part of.”

Choosing the Heart of Orléans BIA as their home was an easy decision. “The Heart of Orléans BIA has such a strong community spirit — people show up, they support each other, and they take pride in where they live,” the owners said. “We’re proud to contribute to that.”
When they’re not managing The Forge, the ownership team brings impressive athletic and professional experience to the table, including backgrounds in ski racing, soccer, varsity basketball, hockey, and field lacrosse, as well as careers in medicine and chiropractic care.
The Forge is located at 1680 Vimont Court, Unit 103, Orléans. Whether you’re a first-time player or a seasoned pro, this is the place to play, connect, and grow your game.
