Although Pharmasave was originally founded in 1981, Emad Hennes and Mena Gerges opened their new business, Pharmasave Orléans Medical Pharmacy during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021. You will find their friendly business conveniently located at 21-5929 Jeanne D’Arc in the Heart of Orléans.
Pharmasave has focused on building a national platform of community-based retail outlets designed to provide exceptional patient-focused healthcare, medication advice, drug store products and customer service. Each Pharmasave store operates independently to serve its individual community with programs and services tailored to the needs of the consumers that reside in that district.
Emad and Mena are kind, personable and all about community. They opened their business not only to provide an essential service, but recognized the increasing wait times when it comes to health care so developed some in-house solutions. They are extremely thoughtful with the systems they’ve put in place. For example, to avoid crowds, their app automatically notifies the client with refill reminders and the option to have their medication prepared before the customer has a chance to even ask for their refill!
Emad and Mena also have 3 rooms inside the pharmacy specifically designed for doctors to set up a clinic. Their goal is to further alleviate the stress on our medical system by offering a walk-in clinic right inside the pharmacy – a one stop shop, if you will! They also offer a rewards program and an opportunity to sign up for their emails.
When asked if they would recommend the Heart of Orléans as a good location to other businesses, they replied that they definitely would because they see first hand that the BIA is helping businesses succeed
.
Giving back to the community is a core value at Pharmasave. “Pharmasave proudly supports what matters in communities because communities matter to Pharmasave.” Emad and Mena see their pharmacy becoming one of the largest serving pharmacies satisfying the medical needs of our community in an efficient and effective manner. We would say Emad and Mena are well on their way to achieving their mission.
If you haven’t been by their pharmacy, please stop in to say hi!
