We introduce you to a few new places that chose the Heart of Orléans BIA as their home. Café Amore opened their doors in May and have offered the community amazing Italian coffee and treats ever since. Three good friends opened Trilogy Hair Lounge and continue to help everyone look and feel their best. And, finally, Raw, Fed and Furry offer all our furry family members high quality, raw food diet options.
Of course we have the regular history article covered and explain how we would like to pay tribute to the Duford family and we also tell you about our Pieced Together StoryWalk with local children’s book author, Timm Holmes.
As the year comes to a close, we felt it was important to provide an update on the BIA expansion planned for 2024. We caught up with BIA experts and advocates, Kay Matthews who is the Executive Director of the Ontario Business Improvement Area Association (OBIAA) and Michelle Groulx, the Executive Director of the Ottawa Coalition of Business Improvement Areas (OCOBIA) to see what they had to say about our planned expansion.
