On Thursday, October 20, Taproom260 officially opened its doors with a ribbon cutting by local councillor Bob Monette and MPP Marie-France Lalonde. With over 200 people in attendance, it was a fun-filled evening with guests tasting the many brews they have on tap and samplings of food and cocktails from their fantastic menu.
Owner Andrew Quincey spearheaded a beautiful renovation, opening up the space to let the light in and adding many wonderful and trendy touches. His co-owners are Julie Quincey (his wife) and Ann Marie Quincey (his mom) with operating partner Jim Morrison. All long-time Orléans residents, they know and love the area. Andrew says, “The sense of community here in Orléans is amazing. We love the people here and are excited to welcome folks to Taproom260 to try out the brews and the food.”
Taproom260 has been open for three weeks and this was their official Grand Opening. They are already very involved in the community as seen in the opening speeches from the Children’s Wish Foundation and Variety of Ottawa. Watch for special fundraising events Taproom260 will be hosting and sponsoring in the coming year.
