Shenkman’s 10th anniversary block party!

BACK IN 2019 WE CELEBRATED THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF THIS BEAUTIFUL BUILDING IN THE HEART OF ORLEANS LET’S US NOT FORGET THESE MOMENTOUS MEMORIES

Can you believe it’s been 10 years since the Shenkman Arts Centre opened its doors? Neither can we!

But that is not stopping the staff from throwing a block party to celebrate!!

Caroline Obeid, Artistic Producer and Manager, has been working at the Shenkman Arts Centre since before it officially opened. She says, “The Centre has always been a partnership – even during the earliest planning stages – among many individuals and groups and that, I think, is what has made it such a successful venture.”

She continues, “This party is an opportunity for us to say thank you to everyone who has helped to make the Centre such a success over the past 10 years: Our volunteers, arts organizations, staff, the community who has provided valuable feedback and taken classes, our donors… Really the list goes on and on.”

With plenty of local food and drink, music, and hands-on activities, it promises to be a fun party. Be sure not to miss:
