As we continue to action the province’s phased-in approach of re-opening the Heart of Orléans, we thought we would send an email that has absolutely nothing to do with COVID-19. Instead, we would like to share a more positive message today.
First, have you noticed the beautiful flowers blooming in our planters along St-Joseph Boulevard?
Have you also noticed that the old tired metal benches have been replaced with shiny new ones?
And lastly have you heard about the BIA Faces of Business project? The Heart of Orléans BIA and Christina LH Photography have joined forces to develop an album of the beautiful faces that make up the Heart of Orléans BIA.
We’re very excited to offer The BIA Faces of Business to the businesses in our BIA district. Normally a corporate session would cost a business approximately $500 but we’ve made arrangements to take pictures of BIA business owners at their place of business in exchange for a donation to the two food banks in our district – The Orléans-Cumberland Resource Centre and the Community Compassion Centre Food Bank. Whatever is collected will be equally divided between the two food banks. Although we appreciate businesses giving what they can, we ask that their donation be a minimum of $50.
Electronic copies of the pictures would go to both the business owner and the BIA. The BIA and photographer both reserve the right to use the pictures.
If you are a member or associate member of the BIA and would like to be a part of this fun initiative, please reach out and let us know by emailing [email protected] OR if you are a community member and would like to sponsor your favorite business so they can get their pictures done, just let us know! Here are a few of the pictures for your viewing pleasure!
Together, let’s put the Heart of Orléans on the map!
Enjoy the rest of your week.
