Lunch Networking Event Fire-Alert - Heart of Orléans BIA

Join us for our June Lunch Networking Event on Thursday, June 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Fire-Alert (890 Taylor Creek Dr.).

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) and Fire-Alert will kick off the event with a discussion on safety in and around your place of business, followed by a live fire safety demonstration, including the opportunity for some attendees to try using a fire extinguisher themself.

Lunch will be provided by Fire Box Pizza, with drinks from Stray Dog Brewing Company.

Please note: this event will take place mostly outdoors. Comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are strongly recommended.

*Attendees are welcome to one (1) alcoholic beverage of their choice. Additional alcoholic beverages will be available at the attendee’s expense. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.

Sylvain Houle, alongside his wife and co-owner Vanessa Houle, is a visionary entrepreneur and a driving force behind Fire-Alert. A proud Orléans resident, he supports many local and national businesses with fire protection compliance. He is deeply connected to the local community and has coached minor hockey in the Cumberland Minor Hockey Association for many years.

Sergeant Stéphane Fournier is a member of the Ottawa Police Service with the Community Policing Unit. He works closely with neighbourhoods across Ottawa to promote safety, support community‑led initiatives, and build positive relationships between police and residents.
