The Heart of Orléans is an incredible area with so much to discover along one boulevard.
Several mom-and-pop-type shops line St-Joseph with their incredible array of products: jewelry, arts and crafts, clothing, shoes, and so much more.
And, St-Joseph is really a “one stop shop” district for all types of services as well, including dental, orthodontic, real estate, mortgages, law, physiotherapy, massage therapy, and spas, among many others.
In addition, over the past few years, Orléans has welcomed some award winning restaurants to St-Joseph Boulevard to join the already excellent complement. We are truly blessed with representation from local fare as well as wonderful, authentic cuisine from around the world.
Orléans continues to offer many advantages to businesses: affordable rates, a strong and engaged community that likes to “shop local”, and great spaces with plenty of parking.
In a recent informal survey, local residents have noted one element missing from St-Joseph that they would love to see: a coffee shop!
According to a recent survey by commercial real estate firm Avison Young, vacancy rates in the capital region will dip to 7.7 per cent by September 2019, well below 10.4 percent from two years ago. As vacancy rates dip, rental rates go up.
With the Balance Orléans initiative bringing a large Government office to Orléans and the 4 new LRT stations set to open in a few years, even more people will be encouraged to visit our district.
