3rd Annual Tree Lighting and Night Market

On Friday, November 21, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., we invite you to join us at 260 Centrum – Orléans Town Centre for our 3rd Annual Tree Lighting, a cherished community tradition that brings neighbours, families, and friends together to celebrate the start of the holiday season.

This year, the festivities will be enhanced by the addition of a Night Market curated by Amanda Watson. Visitors will have the chance to browse a selection of unique vendors offering seasonal goods, gifts, and treats, adding an extra touch of holiday spirit to the evening.

The celebration will also include lively performances by the talented musicians from School of Rock, filling the air with festive music. As a special thank-you to our community, the first 300 attendees will receive complimentary hot chocolate provided by BBCR Café, along with 500 cookies from Stuffed Cookies by Kat.

This year, we are also proud to once a partnership with the Orléans-Cumberland Community Resource Centre (CRCOC) and their 2025 holiday campaign, “Bring joy to a local family”. Guests are encouraged to support local families by making a monetary donation through TipTap or the on-site donation box, or by bringing along a non-perishable food item for the CRCOC food bank. A donation table and collection bin will be set up between Mexi’s and the TapRoom during the event.

At 6:30 p.m., the community will gather around as we light the iconic tree, a moment that has quickly become a highlight of the season and a symbol of warmth, joy, and togetherness.
