Art of Bean Coffee Company

The Art of Bean Coffee Co opened its doors on October 23, 2021.  Located under the Allegro Music School at 16-1439 Youville Drive, owners, Elizabeth Iverson and Jordan Campbell, recently celebrated their first anniversary with family, friends and clients! 

For years now, one of the most requested types of small businesses in the Heart of Orléans has been the coffee shop. Folks have been longing for that unique environment to gather that serves a fragrant, well balanced cup of java. Now more than ever coffee shops promote community and connection.

One of the things we admire most about the Art of Bean is their knack of collaboration with other local business owners. Art of Bean is proudly serving Brown Bag Coffee Roasters, an award winning local coffee roaster specializing in the freshest, cleanest, and healthiest single origin specialty coffee in the region. They have also partnered with The Niche Ottawa Gallery to provide a beautiful visual of local art that lends to the cozy atmosphere of the café. Working with another BIA member, LunchBox, the Art of Bean has also created their own menu of gourmet pressed sandwiches to pair with your beverage of choice!

As a business that opened during the pandemic, it was definitely challenging as Elizabeth and Jordan navigated the changes and ensured the safety of their customers. They will be the first to tell you that the lockdowns were hard but they were able to keep going with the support of the community and food delivery services. 

Despite the pandemic, The Art of Bean was so well loved during their first year, they have already gone through a bit of an expansion adding some extra square footage for sought out meeting space. 

When asked if they would recommend The Heart of Orléans to other small businesses, the response was “ Absolutely. The Orléans community has been so supportive and welcomed us with open arms. There are so many great opportunities for small businesses.”  

We are super happy The Art of Bean Co. has chosen Orleans as their home and look forward to years of sharing exceptional coffee, teas, treats and eats in a unique friendly environment.
