L’art d’Aymara Alvarado Sanchez s’ancre dans une vision du monde qui repose sur la coexistence de
multiples plans de réalité. Après avoir vécu l’extase de la transe chamanique, l’artiste a constaté une
transformation dans sa façon de voir, de comprendre et d’interpréter le monde. L’état
multidimensionnel des images, propriété des symboles, s’est traduit dans son art.
Aymara Alvarado Sanchez joue avec l’explosion de couleurs éclatantes et brutes et inclut des textures
naturelles telles que l’écorce, les pierres et les minéraux pour donner à ses peintures une vie propre.
Certaines de ses œuvres se sont manifestées dans ses rêves, avec différents personnages, des animaux,
des grands-mères, les quatre éléments, lui apportant toutes sortes de messages et de symboliques et la
rassurant sur le fait qu’elle n’est pas seule; mère nature et l’univers l’accompagnent dans ce voyage que
nous appelons la vie.
