En 2018, Danny Lee Duke (batterie) et Rod Leggett (chant, guitare) ont formé Hemlock Hotel. À l’époque, le groupe se concentre principalement sur l’interprétation de reprises issues de la tradition Americana. Cependant, en 2020, le groupe sort son premier enregistrement studio, qui comprend les singles “America” et “Choosing You”. Puis, en 2022, ils sortent leur deuxième EP intitulé “Tailwind”.

Hemlock Hotel se produit régulièrement sur les scènes d’Ottawa et dans de plus petites communautés le long du corridor Montréal, Ottawa et Kingston. Reconnu pour sa polyvalence, le groupe génère lors de ses spectacles des ambiances country et folk-rock, mais aussi des vibrations pop et adultes contemporaines. Actuellement, Danny Lee et Rod se produisent en duo, créant un spectacle acoustique intime.

Hemlock Hotel prévoit retourner en studio cet automne pour enregistrer un album complet.

In 2018, Danny Lee Duke (drums) and Rod Leggett (vocals, guitar) formed  Hemlock Hotel. At the time, the group mostly concentrated on playing cover songs from the Americana tradition. However, In 2020, the band released its first studio recording, which included the singles “America” and “Choosing You”. Then, in 2022, they released their sophomore EP entitled “Tailwind”.

Hemlock Hotel appears regularly on Ottawa stages and in smaller communities along the Montreal, Ottawa and Kingston corridor. Known for their versatility, at their shows the band generates country & folk-rock feels but also pop and adult contemporary vibes. Currently Danny Lee and Rod are performing as a duo creating an intimate acoustic show.

Hemlock Hotel plans to return to the studio this fall to record a full album.
