Will there be water-based events? You bet. Courtesy of the Petrie Island Canoe Club, which will be organizing war canoe competitions between high schools and an Amazing Race. Register at petriecanoe.ca .

And what if you just want to sit back and relax? Fermented beverages (beer and wine) can be enjoyed at a beer tent. Local food vendors will tempt your palate. The trump card? No tariffs will be applied.
