Warm spring weather is just around the corner! As the snow continues to melt and the grass finally starts coming back into view, so too does all the trash and debris that has been hidden beneath the snow all winter.
Let’s do something about it!
Join us on Earth Day (Saturday, April 22nd) for a “Cleaning The Capital” event throughout Convent Glen and Orleans Wood, organised by the Convent Glen Orléans Wood Community Association (CGOWCA) Environment Committee.
The event kicks off at 9am at Cairine Wilson Secondary School, where you can register and receive gloves and bags for the clean up. From there, we’ll spread out throughout the community to clean up parks, paths, and greenspaces, then meet back up for refreshments and to admire our hard work.
Everyone is welcome to join 🙂 Families, individuals, students, groups, teams, workplaces, etc…
Head to our event page to let us know you’re coming, invite others, and to stay up-to-date with event info.
