CALL TO ARTISTS: ARTIST IN RESIDENCE IN GOVERNENT 2024 – 2025

Arts Network Ottawa and the City of Ottawa are excited to announce a new call for applications for our Artist-in-Residence in Government (AIRG)program. For the 2024 – 2025 AIRG call, the selected artist will work directly with the City of Ottawa’s Solid Waste Services team.

This opportunity provides artists with a unique platform to tackle civic challenges and revolutionize conventional approaches by bridging the gap between artists, municipal government personnel, and the community. Through integration within the local city department for 12 months, the chosen artist will infuse their creative insights and background to collaboratively develop innovative models for shaping the future of our community, paving the way for novel solutions to local issues that defy conventional norms.
