DESCRIPTION:Spring is here\, and we are hosting a day of hands-on\, family-friendly activities and games to celebrate! Explore the heritage village and discover through fun\, engaging play how people\, plants and animals marked the turn of the season. Say hello to the Easter Bunny\, meet some new animal friends\, complete Henrietta Hen’s scavenger hunt\, collect a small treat along the way and more. Hop into Spring is best suited for families with children ages 3 to 8\, but younger and older siblings are welcome to join.\nSpecial guests: The Zoo Crew\, Ottawa Fire Services and Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society – Ottawa Valley Chapter.\nRegistration includes admission for up to six people. Children under two are not counted toward the group total. At least one adult (18+) must be present to accompany children.\nApril 4 from 9 am to 3 pm (final entry by 2 pm).Cost: $23.63 per group\, plus tax. Maximum of 6 people per group; children under 2 years of age are not counted toward the maximum group size.Advance registration is required: https://tinyurl.com/a9cr5apx\nNotes:– This program runs rain or shine and takes place both indoors and outdoors. Please check the forecast and dress for weather conditions\, including proper footwear for wet\, snowy\, or muddy conditions.– All reasonable attempts will be made to ensure any candies or chocolate distributed as part of this program are nut free. However\, we cannot guarantee a 100% nut free environment.– Visitors move between buildings using packed gravel pathways. Most buildings have accessible entrances\, however\, due to the building standards of their time\, a small number of heritage buildings may not be accessible to all. DESCRIPTION:Come join us at the 2025 HARVEST Market hosted by the Cumberland Farmers Market.\nWe move our weekly Farmers Market over to the museum for this one special event each year… you will NOT find us at our usual spot on Dunning road this one Saturday\nOur 120 vendor event held each year at the Cumberland Heritage Village Museum on Old Montreal road right in Cumberland\, Ontario.\nThere is food and music and fun all on site for a full day of enjoyment. This family friendly event is the place to be on Sept 20 \, 9am – 3pm\n\nThank you to all our friends as we are proceeding carefully through this process. Your patience has helped so much. Say hello to some baby animals with the Heritage Livestock Club of Eastern Ontario\, help Henrietta Hen find her lost chicks (scavenger hunt)\, hop like a bunny or waddle like a duck as you challenge your friends and family to a race\, get your face painted\, meet a firefighter from Ottawa Fire Services\, and more. You might even spot the Easter Bunny and collect a small treat or two along the way! Activities are best suited for children ages 3 to 8; younger or older siblings are also welcome to join the fun.\nApril 19 from 10 am to 4 pm (final entry by 3 pm)Cost: $26.38 per group.
