It’s finally summer and the wonderful “in person” events we have annually here in the Heart of Orléans are starting to come back. Is it just me or has this “back to normal” made all of you appreciate get togethers and events more than ever?

Speaking of which! June is Pride Month and, in honour of that, we bring you The Interview with Dr. Ellingwood. He’s the driving force behind Orléans Pride and we couldn’t be more excited to hear about his inspirations and thoughts about the future of Orléans.
Have you spotted something new in the district? Given that this issue of The Beat is all about Streetscape and Beautification it’s only fitting we have an article on our very first mural representing all that we know and love about Orléans!
We also had the privilege of chatting with James McNeil, an expert when it comes to all things green and we also introduce you to the face behind our graffiti removal, Stephane Léger.
