Prav\u0101ha (mot sanskrit signifiant \u00ab flux continu \u00bb), la tr\u00e8s attendue deuxi\u00e8me production de Stuti Mukherjee, c\u00e9l\u00e8bre le courant intemporel de la danse, de la culture et de la tradition sud-asiatiques.<\/p>\n

La premi\u00e8re partie de la soir\u00e9e mettra en vedette les \u00e9l\u00e8ves d\u00e9vou\u00e9s de Kalagriha aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de certaines \u00e9coles de Bharatanatyam d\u2019Ottawa, mettant en lumi\u00e8re la vitalit\u00e9 de la communaut\u00e9 locale de danse classique indienne. La seconde partie pr\u00e9sentera la premi\u00e8re canadienne de The Accidental Goddess, une production de Kuchipudi interpr\u00e9t\u00e9e par l\u2019artiste invit\u00e9e de renom, Smt. Archana Raja, en provenance de la Californie.<\/p>\n

Danseuse chevronn\u00e9e et directrice artistique de la Laya Dance Company, Archana fait revivre sur sc\u00e8ne l\u2019histoire de Renuka, qui se transforme en d\u00e9esse Yellamma \u2014 une puissante exploration de la r\u00e9silience, de l\u2019identit\u00e9 et de la voix des femmes \u00e0 travers un folklore ancestral.<\/p>\n
