Au Canada, les restaurants se livrent<br>concurrence sur le prix. Dans le pass\u00e9, les marges nettes \u00e9taient le double ou le triple de ce qu\u2019elles sont aujourd\u2019hui. Au cours des 20 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, l\u2019arriv\u00e9e massive de cha\u00eenes de restauration d\u00e9tenues par de gros conglom\u00e9rats et l\u2019expansion rapide du secteur ont provoqu\u00e9 des guerres de prix ax\u00e9es sur l\u2019augmentation des recettes brutes. Les cha\u00eenes sont \u00e0 l\u2019origine de ces luttes de prix qui ont d\u00e9form\u00e9 notre perception du co\u00fbt actuel des repas de restaurant. Aujourd\u2019hui, le consommateur moyen ne conna\u00eet pas le juste prix lorsqu\u2019il demande \u00e0 quelqu\u2019un d\u2019autre d\u2019acheter, de pr\u00e9parer et de cuisiner ses aliments, de lui servir un repas dans une salle \u00e0 manger chauff\u00e9e ou climatis\u00e9e, et de nettoyer ensuite la cuisine, la table et la vaisselle utilis\u00e9es. Pourtant, le client a besoin de comprendre comment les marges sont calcul\u00e9es pour bien \u00e9valuer la valeur du service qu\u2019il ach\u00e8te.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La marge de profit net correspond au montant qui reste lorsque l\u2019on soustrait l\u2019ensemble des d\u00e9penses d\u2019exploitation des recettes de vente. Ces d\u00e9penses comprennent le co\u00fbt des produits et de la main d\u2019\u0153uvre, ainsi que les frais g\u00e9n\u00e9raux encourus pour fournir le service.
