Canada Day on Petrie Island is one of the largest Canada Day events in the nation’s capital, and one of the largest volunteer-run celebration in the country. Attracting upwards of 20,000 local and regional residents, this free and safe alternative to the downtown crowds offers a family-friendly destination for east end and surrounding communities. O Canada Orléans is featured on Ottawa-based television, radio, city-wide publications, a dedicated website, social media and signage on most major area thoroughfares.
