Marketing & Promotion Initiatives

E-magazine, The Beat

Our new flagship communiqué, The Beat, is a monthly digital magazine delivered to your inbox. We feature the stories behind several businesses in the district, a calendar of events, historical highlights from St-Joseph Boulevard, and more.

Social Media Promotion

Posting to social media, mostly through Facebook and Twitter, to help share community information and promote events, sales, and other happenings in the BIA district. The BIA currently posts on average 15 times per week.

Social Media Launchpad Program

For the past several years, the BIA has been helping our business with their social media presence. Up to 20 members per year can take advantage of a free 1-hour consultation with a local expert, to take their social media activities to the next level.

Rebranding Initiative

The BIA undertook a major rebranding initiative in 2015.  Marketing materials, banners, signage, and more continue to roll out in 2016 and 2017.
